BTJW Welcomes Kaarin Nelson Schaffer and Jerri Adams to the Firm

March 27, 2018 – Baillon Thome Jozwiak & Wanta LLP is pleased to announce that attorneys Kaarin Nelson Schaffer and Jerri Adams have joined the firm’s employment litigation practice group. Kaarin is a fierce advocate for her clients and joins the firm as a partner. Known for her trial skill and employee advocacy, Kaarin has been named to the list of Minnesota Rising Stars in employment litigation every year since 2014 and regularly presents at conferences on employment law matters. A cum laude graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law, Kaarin litigates on behalf of employees across a range of employment law claims, including gender and pregnancy discrimination, whistleblower retaliation and other forms of unlawful conduct by employers.

Attorney Jerri Adams is a skilled advocate who works on behalf of employees who have experienced discrimination, retaliation and harassment in the workplace. Prior to joining the firm, Jerri litigated and tried employment, insurance and construction defect cases. While at the University of Wisconsin Law School, Jerri served as a judicial intern for Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme, as well as completed externships at several state and federal agencies, including the Wisconsin Department of Justice in its Civil Litigation unit, the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington,D.C.
