Seven BTJW Attorneys Named to the 2022 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists; Three Named to Top Lists

Baillon Thome Jozwiak & Wanta LLP is proud to announce that seven firm attorneys were named to the lists of 2022 Minnesota Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.

This year, six firm attorneys were recognized as Super Lawyers. Frances BaillonChris JozwiakMatthew Nolan, and Joni Thome were recognized in the Employment Litigation: Plaintiff practice area, while Shawn Wanta and Scott Moriarity were recognized in the Class Action practice area. Super Lawyers is a research-driven, peer influenced rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievements. Only 5% of practicing attorneys are awarded this distinction each year. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazines and locally in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business.

In addition, Frances, Chris, and Joni were again listed in Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers, and Frances and Joni were also again listed in Top 50 Minnesota Women Super Lawyers. The Top 100 and Top 50 Women distinctions are given to attorneys receiving the highest point totals in the Super Lawyers selection process.

Super Lawyers also identifies Rising Stars – attorneys who have been in practice for less than 10 years or are younger than 40. This year, Jerri Adams Belcher was again recognized as Minnesota Rising Star. Only 2.5% of practicing attorneys in Minnesota are selected to receive this honor. Jerri was selected for her hard work in representing employees in employment litigation.
