Six BTJW Attorneys Named to the 2020 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars List; Three Named to Top Lists

Jul 20, 2020

This week, Super Lawyers® announced that six Baillon Thome Jozwiak & Wanta LLP attorneys were named to the lists of 2020 Minnesota Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. In addition, the firm is proud to announce that Frances Baillon, Joni Thome, and Chris Jozwiak were all named on the list of Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers and that Frances and Joni were named on the list of Top 50 Minnesota Women Super Lawyers.

Super Lawyers is a research-driven, peer influenced rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievements. Only 5% of practicing attorneys are awarded the distinction of Minnesota Super Lawyers each year. The Top 100 and Top 50 Women distinctions are given to attorneys receiving the highest point totals in the Super Lawyers selection process. Baillon, Thome and Jozwiak have been recognized repeatedly for their outstanding work on behalf of employees in employment litigation. All three are certified Labor and Employment Law Specialists by the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Super Lawyers also identifies Rising Stars – attorneys who have been in practice for less than 10 years or are younger than 40. Only 2.5% of practicing attorneys in Minnesota are selected to receive this honor. This year, Shawn Wanta, Dustin Massie, and Jerri Adams were again recognized as Rising Stars. Shawn was recognized for his work as a leading class action attorney while Jerri and Dustin were recognized for their work in representing employees in employment litigation.

The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazines and locally in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business.
